A comedy conglomerate of Stephen Colfer, Gavin Drea and James McDonnell.

Dreamgun's original short films, including Millennials, Gym Gravy and Back in Town were viewed on people’s phones at house parties almost a million times in 2016.

They write and perform the award winning Dreamgun Film Reads, a comedy show and podcast where they take a beloved film script and stuff it full of jokes and nonsense. Film Reads has won Dublin Fringe’s Best Ensemble Award, was one of BBC’s Top 10 Culture Podcasts of 2018 and the fourth best reviewed comedy show at Edinburgh Fringe 2019. Selling out houses at Edinburgh Fringe, Dublin Fringe, Vodafone Comedy Festival, the Cat Laughs and Vicar Street. Film Reads currently runs monthly at 21 Soho, London.

In 2022 Dreamgun premiered their new hyper genre comedy Dreamgun Video at Edinburgh and Dublin Fringe. They also premiered their new Dracula based comedy Dreamgun Dracula at the Bram Stoker Festival.

Gavin Drea

Gavin is an actor, writer and voice over artist based in London. He recently played the lead role in Wedding Season on Disney+. He'll next appear in Daisy Jones and the Six on Amazon.

Gavin is the lead voice of V in Cyberpunk 2077

Stage work includes Blood Wedding at the Young Vic, London and Hamlet at St Ann's Warehouse, New York. He has performed numerous times in the Gate Theatre, and the Abbey as well as touring internationally with Druid Theatre. 

His film work includes Luc Besson’s Valerian, Lenny Abrahamsons What Richard Did as well as central roles in TV series Vikings Valhalla, My Mother and Other Strangers and Love Hate.

Stephen Colfer

Stephen is an actor, writer, voice over artist and producer.

Stephen has been writing and performing comedy for over 10 years including his own solo show Powerpoint, two volumes of the anthology tragic-comedy Personal Space, and Dreamgun’s proto shows Mimes in Time and Chaos Theory. His words have appeared on BBC and RTÉ

As an actor he’s performed in a variety of semi serious productions including Deadly for The Abbey Theatre, The Beggar’s Opera with The European Opera Centre, Trainspotting and The Hellfire Squad for Devious Theatre.
